I'm a high school librarian and a writer. Currently, I am more successful at the former than the latter, but I learn every time I sit down with my laptop and manage to write sentence after sentence without giving in to the urge to clean the entire house, do a little Internet shopping, watch stuff on YouTube, read blogs, or put the TV on just for background noise and then end up watching HGTV or something for hours. I do love being a high school librarian, however, what with the being surrounded by books and great kids and getting to connect the two. As for location, I used to live in Illinois, I now live in Seattle, and I will soon (in June 2008) live in Denver.
